Our "Reserve & Relax" Respite Care is for short-term stays in a
furnished room at Berkshire Place. The stay may be for either senior
residential care or nursing care. Respite care is helpful for people
who need temporary placement in a service-oriented setting as a result
of increased safety needs, personal assistance or short-term illness.
Respite care can also provide stress relief for the primary caregiver.
Residents admitted for respite care have the option to convert to
long-term residency. A respite care stay can be extremely helpful when
used as a trial period before deciding on a permanent move. Our
respite care program offers an affordable daily rate that includes all
of the benefits our permanent residents receive.
