Senior Residential Care Living is a distinctive concept in senior living. Established before the development of independent retirement and assisted living, residential care living is regulated by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.
Residential care is most similar to assisted living, except it provides the added benefit of comprehensive services at an all-inclusive rate. There are no additional charges for personal care or nursing services, recreational activities, housekeeping, laundry, transportation (in our own van), utilities, cable television or maintenance. There are also no leases, security deposits or entrance fees required.
At Berkshire Place, we offer nine residences with a variety of services and amenities from which to choose. Residents have companionship, gracious dining, social, cultural and wellness programs as well as the security and peace of mind of knowing assistance is available on-site 24 hours a day.

- Three delicious, home-cooked meals served daily, with a variety of menu selections from which to choose
- Utilities including heat, water, electricity, and cable television
- Housekeeping services including trash removal, vacuuming, dusting, and bed making
- Use of common areas including activity and sun rooms, library, great room and outdoor courtyard
- Safe, secure building with emergency call response in each resident room
- All inclusive personal care assistance and medication administration and monitoring (if needed)
- Select over the counter medications
- Activity and social programs including exercise, religious services, outings and a computer with access to the Internet
- Transportation in our own van to medical appointments and outings
- Laundry services including linens and personal laundry

- Convenient downtown location within close proximity to shops, banks, churches and other areas of interest
